Erica was born in the States and spent five years of her childhood in Israel. She discovered CI 24 years ago in Philadelphia USA, and has continued to live it ever since. Fascinated with the relationship of CI to communication between people, she joined The Jewish-German Dance Theatre, a collaborative group of artist using CI and experimental theatre to create performances that exposed vulnerabilities in light of the Holocaust. She has toured throughout Eastern/Western Europe and the States to teach and perform and has been dance-faculty at Penn State University, University of Denver and now at Juniata College where she coordinated CI36—the 36th birthday celebration of CI.  Erica is the founder of the Lila Yoga Institute, a center for yogic learning, contact improvisation & somatic studies AND she is a mother to Sonia and Maya and a life-partner to Nonny.
