Urban CI - Dance and the city..

As oppose to the studio which try to be a natural space, working outdoor brings into our awareness allot of information and off different kinds. Improvising in a public space asks for an open and available body and is challenging the performer and sharpen his senses. it is a great source of inspiration which brings authenticity and connection with the viewer into the dance. in this intensive we would use CI skills as well as pure improvisation skills in different locations in Tel-aviv. Each day will study a different area and examine different elements of the urban landscape such as sound, base, characters and social situations. sensorial exploration will lead us to reexamine CI principles.
