The Greenhouse takes place in the beautiful Kfar Blum, a kibbutz in the Hula Valley which is part of the Upper  Galilee in Israel. These 5 days are an invitation to dive deeply into the practice of CI and community living.

During the festival there are Intensives and single classes. These meetings enrich and support participant's Contact Improvisation experience, skill, and practice. Each evening there will be Jams which allows us to come together and practice the form.

Intensives
Intensives are an invitation to go deeper into the practice within the setting of a consistent group and teacher. Often times intensives become the anchor of practicing and learning during the festival. They also enrich the Contact practice during the evening Jams, as they allow to apply the learned information.

 Classes
The conference offers a variety of classes with teachers from the Israeli contact association and guest teachers from around the world. The classes that change every day are an opportunity to experience more of the variety of the contact and get to know different approaches of teachers from Israel and the world.

All you need to know
Sleeping
We will be sleeping in a high school building, in heated classrooms, with toilets nearby. You can also place a tent on the grass. The Dance center has hot showers. The brave can jump into the Jordan river. There is also a special arrangement for using the Spa of the Kibbutz (at extra cost).
Eating
Participation is full board, with 3 meals a day of healthy & nutritious Vegetarian food, plus free coffee, tea, and water at all times. The food is Semi Vegan, meaning there is no meat, chicken, fish or eggs. We get our proteins from lentils, beans and tahini. Some milk products will be offered but usually separate so you can have a full meal without them.
How to get there
We offer a centralized shuttle from Tel Aviv to Kfar Bloom and back (you can sign up on the registration form)

Bus* Take a bus to Kiryat Shmona and get off at the Goma or Kiryat Shmona intersection.
